The “Tourism Business Booster” initiative addresses the digital transition challenges faced by Moldovan agri-tourism businesses, particularly those led by women in rural areas. With a focus on cross-sectoral innovation, the project facilitates knowledge transfer and collaboration with international and local creative industries to enhance the skills of five selected agri-tourism businesses. The program targets the skills gap in digital transition, guiding participants through challenges related to product development, storytelling, content creation, and market access. By involving local experts, academia, and Polish expertise, the initiative aims to create sustainable and engaging experiences for travelers while fostering partnerships for future scalability. The program’s success will be documented as case studies, contributing to wider knowledge sharing and potential national and international replication. The overall impact is expected to include economic development, job creation, and socio-economic inclusion in rural areas.
