Hybrid Energy Integrator & Storage Hub
for Public Facilities in Ukraine
Country:
Ukraine
Innovator:

Local Partner:
NGO Kharkiv Energy Cluster
Total budget, incl. co-financing:
US$ 61,400
Award:
US$ 39,890
Time Frame:
15.10.2021 – 31.5.2022
Problem:
Solve the increase of energy costs and further expected consequent rise of energy prices, and replace the costly, non-efficient central heating systems that are based on fossil/on-site burning, electricity or mix, which are directly adding to emissions.
Solution:
The project aims to facilitate transfer, promotion and further market scaling up of genuinely Polish, smart, easy adjustable, hybrid (operating on both green and conventional sources) Energy Integrator & Storage Hub: Ukrainian 3G®. An additional solution is the integrated air-heat pump Turbostove® fireplace/stove on various wood waste with water jacket and internal heat exchanger, along with indoor installation providing energy efficient heating, cooling, and hot water for public and private facilities in Ukraine. The system offers a simple, easy, low-cost energy efficiency boost and green technologies.
The project’s cornerstone approach is to turn the pilot installation at the public facilities of Pervomaiskyi, Kharkov Region, Ukraine (Primary school / kindergarten organized by the Municipality, as an open, community space of community meetings and social life), into Smart Energy LAB: “live” learning by seeing/doing workshop for leading Ukrainian architects and heat technology engineers, along the rep. of public energy efficiency agencies and Ministry of Education of UA.
