Problem:
Ukraine is the first IT outsourcing market in Eastern Europe and the first in CEE by IT outsourcing volume. The country is facing a shortage of software developers, and the COVID-19 pandemic changed education forms, with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.

Solution:
Introduction of a chatbot (CodeAll) for teaching coding that allows the ability to create intelligent environment and fosters digital growth, and digital literacy, especially in the area of programming. The purpose is to spread innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in economic activities and social inclusion. CodeAll’s main element is a machine-learning-powered chatbot that allows anyone with internet access to learn programming for free, in the form of natural conversation. In order to further develop digital skills, CodeAll goes beyond the computer and allows the learners to create intelligent environments with the use of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors.
