Kutaisi is a pioneer in Georgia, implementing municipal-level separation of plastic and paper packaging materials. The increasing volume of collected waste necessitates expanded infrastructure, aligning with Georgia’s waste management policy goals. This project is proposed to enhance Kutaisi’s Packaging Waste Management Facility, introducing a baler meeting European standards to significantly boost recycling potential and align with the city’s ambition to become an Eco-Smart city.
